PICTURE: Potential 4-4-2 Man Utd diamond vs Cambridge – debut given

Manchester United got back to winning ways at home to Leicester City yesterday, and on Tuesday they’ll be looking to right a few wrongs in terms of domestic cup football as they host League Two Cambridge United – a visit to either Sheffield United or Preston North End awaits the winner of this one.

The Iron Tulip will be looking to hand more game time to some of his youngsters and fringe players, whilst fielding a strong enough side to win the match more than comfortably.

James Wilson should start, whereas Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair could also return to the first-team fold. Ander Herrera should be given a much-needed confidence booster with a place in the XI, whereas Victor Valdes could well make his competitive debut for the reds.
