Manchester United’s attentions turn to cup football on Sunday, as the lads travel to unfamiliar territory in the form of Huish park. Louis van Gaal will be hoping for a better cup run, and he’ll certainly want to avoid another 4-0 humiliating defeat similar to that inflicted by MK Dons.
That said, I reckon Van Gaal will use this game to ease some players back in from injury, and blending that with a few younger players who’s opportunities have been limited.
Adnan Januzaj will almost certainly start, as will Ander Herrera in the middle of the park. Bodies are returning from injury all the time, and we could see Angel di Maria given a start as he’ll be hoping for some match fitness going into the second half of the season.
Hopefully we’ll see the likes of Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair back involved, and it should be a good opportunity for Rafael da Silva too.
