Manchester United’s focus will return to league football this weekend, in a game where a win couldn’t be more important. After some poor results recently, Louis van Gaal will be looking to get his side back on track and start building a bit of a cushion between themselves and the chasing pack.
I can see Van Gaal returning to the 5-3-2 formation once again here, with Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Antonio Valencia making up the back five.
Angel di Maria will partner Michael Carrick in the centre of the park, and they’ll have Marouane Fellaini protecting in behind them. Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney will start up front.
