PICTURE: Potential diamond formation vs Palace – McNair starts

Manchester United came away from the Etihad feeling deflated, yet at the same time they can take a whole lot of pride out of their superb performance. Attentions now switch to Crystal Palace at home, in a game the lads must win before the international break to send out the right message as our hunt for the top four continues.

Injury problems still persist though, and particularly in defensive areas. The back four will be an interesting one come 15:00 on Saturday though, with pretty much every one of our senior defenders unavailable due to injury.

This is the XI that I reckon will take on Crystal Palace this weekend:
