Its been a long couple of weeks but Manchester United finally return to action on Saturday, as Louis van Gaal and his side play host to an in-form Aston Villa side under the guidance of Tim Sherwood. United will be hoping to cement their spot in the top four, with rivals Liverpool and Arsenal playing each other.
His team selection remained the same over the past couple of games, but now could be the perfect time to make a couple of changes to try and build confidence.
The back four should stay the same as they conceded just the one goal against both Spurs and Liverpool. This weekend they should be protected by Marouane Fellaini, as Michael Carrick featured for England twice and it’d be beneficial to rest him for the Manchester derby.
Angel di Maria returns to the left wing, with Wayne Rooney going back into the centre of midfield, allowing Radamel Falcao to come into the side after scoring three goals in two appearances for Columbia – becoming their top goal scorer ever in the process.
