Manchester United’s winning run was ended with a 1-1 draw at Villa Park on Saturday, and Louis van Gaal will be looking to get back to winning ways with Newcastle visiting on Boxing Day. Manchester United have been boosted by Chris Smalling’s return, who could well start the game.
The rest of the team is pretty much the same. Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young will once again continue at the wing-back slots despite Luke Shaw and Rafael both back in full training.
Radamel Falcao bagged a goal last time out, and he’ll definitely retain his place with Wayne Rooney probably dropping back into midfield to fill the void left by the injured Marouane Fellaini.
