Manchester United’s attentions once again switch to FA Cup football this Friday night, in a game which pits one of the highest rank sides in the competition against the lowest. Louis van Gaal will not want his players to get complacent though, and a strong team is likely to be fielded.
James Wilson will almost certainly get the nod after scoring his first of the season away at QPR on Saturday afternoon, and we could also see Wayne Rooney partner him in a rare start as a striker.
Marouane Fellaini is likely to be the senior figure in the middle of the park, alongside Ander Herrera who was left out of the starting line-up last time out.
Luke Shaw will probably get the nod at left-back, with the fit again Rafael da Silva filling in at right-back. The central partnership duo of Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair will surely have enough to keep Cambridge United under wraps.
