PICTURE: Potential Man Utd diamond vs Swansea – Herrera starts

Manchester United play their second away game in succession this weekend, with a potentially tricky trip to Swansea City. Louis van Gaal seems to have got his well oiled machine working again, with United only losing once in their last 19 games – conceding just 12 goals in that time despite the much-maligned defence.

Swansea are a team that work very well both on and off the ball, hence why United will need runners – particularly in the middle of the park. That should mean Ander Herrera retains his place in the side, as does Marouane Fellaini who also excelled in the FA cup. Daley Blind will back them up and be the back four protector, with Juan Mata returning to the side in the #10 spot.

The back five should remain the same, despite Antonio Valencia and David de Gea combining to gift Preston an early lead last time out. Wayne Rooney will be hoping to play as a striker, with Radamel Falcao his likely partner in crime.
