Manchester United and Louis van Gaal take on Stoke City tomorrow lunchtime, at the dreaded annual visit to the Britannia Stadium. United will need to be at their strongest both physically and mentally to cope with the Potters’ threats, hence why I think the five at the back will be utilised once more.
Returning to the side is our two natural wing-backs in Rafael da Silva and Luke Shaw. They’ll be accompanied by Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans along the defence.
Michael Carrick will continue as the holding midfielder, whereas Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata will make up the rest of the midfield. The front two pretty much picks itself, with Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao starting up top.
