Manchester United have an brilliant opportunity to move within two points of Manchester City with a win today, but Sam Allardyce’s West Ham will prove a stern test. To many fans dismay, I reckon we could see the return of the 5-3-2 tomorrow as it offers more defensive solidity.
With that in mind, a back five of Chris Smalling, Paddy McNair and Marcos Rojo, accompanied out wide by the Player of the Month Antonio Valencia and the returning Ashley Young – is probably the strongest back line we have at the moment.
Daley Blind will sit in front of the back line, with Wayne Rooney and Angel di Maria slightly ahead of him in more advanced roles. The duo of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao will be looking to continue the good form they showed last time out.
