PICTURE: Rafael da Silva wearing Man City top

Rafael da Silva has turned into somewhat of the forgotten man at Manchester United over the last twelve months, having been dropped with Louis van Gaal opting for the Ecuadorian international Antonio Valencia in his place.

Recent reports have suggested that Rafael will be on his way out of United this summer if any decent bids come in for the Brazilian, and today a picture emerged of him wearing Manchester City gear which certainly won’t help his case.

As you can see from the photo below, the 24-year old is posing with a friend, wearing a top with Manchester City’s logo in the top right-hand corner.

This certainly won’t endear him to the Manchester United fans who have backed him all season-long despite his exclusion from the starting eleven.

  1. Don’t be silly now. This is a football team strip from his home town of Petropolis in Brazil.
It’s even sponsored by the local pub, Bar de Leo.

    Nothing to do with City.
