Injury problems seem to be slowly but surely easing up for Manchester United, as the recently injured duo of Luke Shaw and Rafael da Silva both trained yesterday ahead of the visit of Southampton. The pair picked up an ankle problem and a fractured cheekbone respectively.
Despite these injuries happening less than a week ago, its great to see that the pair are both in contention to play on Sunday – especially Luke Shaw, who’ll be looking to play against the club that gave him his big chance in football.
Rafael da Silva is looking likely to start too, but he’ll have to wear a protective face mask for the foreseeable future, to avoid further damage to his fractured cheek.
