Manchester United Football Club are almost certainly in the market for a new striker this summer. Heck, they simply have to be following the news that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract hasn’t been renewed. One name thrown into the ring is that of Romelu Lukaku.
Yesterday, the 24-year-old forward took to social media, alongside NBA star Serge Ibaka. Guess what his mate was wearing? A Manchester United jersey. Credit goes to the Daily Star for spotting the shirt, and Lukaku teasing us like this is rather amusing.

Obviously, there is no denying that he would make our team better almost immediately. This is a man who scored an incredible 25 league goals last season – an excellent tally, which is made all the more impressive when you consider that he doesn’t play for one of the top six.
Now, this may just be Lukaku’s way of playing a joke, and if we’re being brutally honest it doesn’t mean anything. But, you have to admire the way he is handling the transfer saga because it mustn’t be easy.
United have deep pockets, and Everton have been linked with a move for Wayne Rooney this summer. To me, it seems good business sense to work out some sort of swap deal between the pair…
