Picture: Rio Ferdinand joins Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during Man United training

Manchester United Football Club are loving life at the moment. It has been a truly brilliant two months for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer; who doesn’t look like letting up.

There’s no doubt that the Baby Faced Assassin is slowly playing his way into landing the job on a permanent basis – and how special would that be for the Norwegian?

I think it’s fair to say that nobody thought this possible in mid-December, with everyone thinking it’d only be a temporary thing. It’s looking a real possibility now, though.

Today, Solskjaer is getting his players ready for a huge clash against Liverpool. There was a picture of another old face doing the rounds on social media today; as Rio Ferdinand dropped in to see how his old pal was getting on.

It’s always wonderful to see legends from the past dropping in, and no doubt Ferdinand would have had some words of wisdom for Solskjaer and the rest of that playing squad.

United is such a family club with traditional values and traits, it’s why so many former players are often spotted getting themselves in the mix. It’s a large reason why Solskjaer is so universally loved, just look what he did for Guiseppi Rossi shortly after getting the job.

Anyway, hopefully the players are working hard in training and they’re all set for a huge game this weekend.
