Manchester United put in their best away performance of the season against a stubborn Tottenham Hotspur side today, but somehow didn’t come away from White Hart Lane with all three points. Louis van Gaal will be both pleased and disappointed, and hopefully United can return to winning ways.
The referee had a shocker all-round today, no more so than this tackle from Benjamin Stambouli, who didn’t see red for a knee-high tackle that could’ve seriously injured Michael Carrick.
Now i’m not saying that if he would’ve been sent off United would have definitely gone on to win, but that early in the game it certainly could’ve been a factor.
