Manchester United Football Club could be bracing themselves for a fairly busy January transfer window, as Jose Mourinho continues to mould the playing squad into one that suits his system and tactics. One man who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford recently is SL Benfica centre-back, Victor Lindelof.
Now fuel has been added to that fire by a fan, who took to Instagram earlier to post a photo of the Sweden international signing a Manchester United jersey in his homeland.

Now as we all know this doesn’t really mean a whole lot in terms of completing a transfer, but it wouldn’t make sense for the 22-year-old to start signing Manchester United jerseys unless he was confident of a move happening.
With Eric Bailly jetting off to the African Cup of Nations in a couple of weeks, defensive cover is certainly needed, and it does look as though a move for Lindelof is progressing nicely. To be honest, I’ve not seen all that much of him personally, but you have to trust in Jose Mourinho because he’s one of the best managers on the planet.
