Picture: Wan-Bissaka named in BBC Team of the Week for top display vs Chelsea

Manchester United Football Club picked up a huge three points at Stamford Bridge, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer completed a clean sweep against Chelsea.

The Red Devils have hauled themselves right back into the race for a spot in the Premier League’s top four, thanks to an excellent, effort-filled display from those eleven men out on the field.

For me, there were at least three or four who deserve credible mentions, which is why I was extremely surprised when only the one United star was named in the BBC’s Team of the Week for a top-drawer display against Chelsea.

Yes, Garth Crooks has gone with Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The right-back put in what was probably his most complete performance in United colours. He dealt with the Chelsea attacking threat wonderfully well, while his pinpoint cross into Anthony Martial created the opening goal.

The Englishman was definitely deserving of his spot in the TOTW, I’m just wholly disappointed he’s the only one. Eric Bailly was an absolute colossus from first minute right through till last and his display was made even more impressive due to the fact that that was his first start of the season.

Then you have Harry Maguire who scored and led by example and Fred who bossed the midfield. Bruno Fernandes and Luke Shaw also deserve honourable mentions.

Well played, Aaron, and everyone else who got snubbed!
