Manchester United fans have finally been given some good news – Both Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie have returned to full training, and the duo could be in line for a return when United take on Sunderland tomorrow night. Gus Poyet’s men lead the tie 2-1 on aggregate, but United should have enough to progress to the final.
We’ve been without the pair since December, and although Danny Welbeck has done excellently in their absence, having them back will be a huge lift. A win tomorrow would certainly help take the pressure of David Moyes and his coaching staff, and at least the fans will have a trip to Wembley to look forward to.
