The news all United fans have been patiently waiting for; Wayne Rooney has signed a new contract at Manchester United, keeping him at the club until 2019. He signed the deal alongside David Moyes tonight, and read what both of them had to say here. Wayne Rooney will be almost 34 when his new deal expires.
Surely now Rooney will become Manchester United’s new captain in the summer, and he now must become a leader both on and off the pitch whilst continuing to give his all for our famous Red jersey.
