Manchester United’s lack of a world class goalscorer has been infuriating this season, despite having three of the worlds best on their books. Only two players are into double figures this season, and even that is something that has only happened all too late for our liking.
Radamel Falcao has been perhaps the biggest disappointment of this year. There was anticipation from all over the globe when he signed for Manchester United on a season-long loan deal, but it just hasn’t happened for El Tigre.
At a United U21 game last night, a young fan held a banner which read ‘Sign him up, form is temporary, class is permanent! El Tigre!’.
For me, it’d be a bold move if United did sign him permanently, particularly if the £40million fee and £300,000-a-week wages are what the Columbian is after.
