Manchester United have made two excellent signings so far this summer, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to mould the squad into one that fits his playing style.
After Daniel James joined in on the action at the AON Training Complex last week, fans were waiting with anticipation to see their other summer signing, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, in amongst training for the first time.
This morning, they got that chance thanks to the official United Twitter account. They dedicated a post to their new right-back, with four snapshots of him in action. It’s certainly fair to say that Reds colours suit him wonderfully!
After competing in the European U21 Championship with his native England, I expected that we wouldn’t see Wan-Bissaka straight away. I actually thought he’d be given a fortnight or so off, to rest and recharge the batteries.
Well, it seems as though he’s ready to go and now he’ll be looking forward to his first game at United – when the Reds take on Perth Glory this Saturday at 12:30 BST.
I, like the majority, will be hoping to see both James and Wan-Bissaka take to the field in some capacity. Although it’s only a friendly, you can gauge just how these guys will gel with their new teammates, while also getting a first look at where Solskjaer plans to use them…
