Manchester United Football Club have been struggling on the pitch recently. However, they haven’t forgotten the principles of what an elite organisation should do.
Today, pictures from the official club Twitter account showed several members of the first-team squad meeting the Wild Boars; a young Thai football team who were tragically trapped in a cave following flooding.
Make no mistake about it, these lads’ lives were at serious risk when the incident occurred, but credit to the officials who got them out of there safe and sound; albeit after an extremely nervous time trapped inside.

To see these lads with smiles on their faces once again truly is heartwarming. That incident is something that they’ll never forget, that time wondering whether they were going to make it out alive will always be at the forefront of their minds in everything they do.
This is the least the club can do. I hope that this is the first of many football teams who’ll offer them the opportunity to watch their heroes live and in the flesh. Hopefully, they’re at the game tomorrow and United can deliver them a much-needed victory!
