Cristiano Ronaldo is officially in the building!

Just yesterday, we covered reports which suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo may not partake in the game against Newcastle United this weekend. Why, you ask? Well, it was written that our Portuguese superstar wouldn’t train until Friday, leaving him short on fitness…

Well, it seems as though United themselves were feeling in the mood to subliminally kill those rumours at source. That’s because yesterday, Ronaldo was actually spotted inside the building – something which he wouldn’t have been able to do if he was still self-isolating.

The official website released the pictures yesterday – also confirming that CR7 wasted no time to get stuck in, training with his new teammates yesterday.

Check out the photos of Ronaldo with the boss at Carrington here:

In the words of Patrice Evra; you absolutely love to see it.

Ronaldo is here and suddenly, it all feels very real. Our new number seven will no doubt train tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, which gives me real belief that he will indeed start against Newcastle United this weekend.

This is a man who is probably the fittest athlete on the planet. I’d doubt there’s anyone within our sport who looks after their body any better than he does and I fully expect he’ll be chomping at the bit and ready to go come 15:00 BST on Saturday.

This is just pure class. Ronnie is home, back with his former teammate-now-manager. Who says Solskjaer can’t attract the big names, huh?

Ronaldo’s certainly going to get a heroes welcome when he walks out of that tunnel this weekend.
