Man United have welcomed Cristiano Ronaldo into training for the first time since he came home.

Yesterday, we were given a real treat. Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted back at the AON Training Complex, all-smiles alongside his new manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Shortly after that, we’d learn Ronaldo actually trained with his new teammates – earlier than most of us expected, too. The man from Portugal had to undertake an isolation period ahead of being introduced to the group.

Well, we’re pleased to report that period is seemingly over, with Ronaldo out there working with his new teammates for the first time. Thanks to @ManUtd for the snaps.

Suddenly, it all feels very real. Ronaldo is home. He’s wearing United club gear again. He’s training with a smile on his face. You absolutely love to see it.

Check out the photos here:

My first point of note is that Diogo Dalot is all of us! He’s looking at Ronaldo with a twinkle in his eye, just as we was when we opened up these photos for the first time.

Secondly, I realised just how ripped Ronaldo is. He’s probably the best athlete on planet earth when to comes to looking after his body. This guy means business, from watching what he eats to ensuring he follows his strict training regime down to the very minuscule details.

I still find it bonkers that he’s a United player once again. These photos make it seem more real than it has done over the last week – though I’d imagine it won’t settle in properly until he’s touching the ball against Newcastle United this coming weekend.

The roar from the Stretford End is going to be incredible. And I can’t wait for it!

Good to see you, Ronnie!
