Manchester United’s move for Daley Blind has certainly happened quickly than most people expected. Just over 24 hours ago, the versatile Dutchman was at the heart of rumours linking him a move for a reunion with his former international manager Louis van Gaal. Now the 24-year old is in Manchester undergoing his medical.
Blind knows Louis van Gaal’s tactics inside-out, and can slot into the 3-5-2 formation in no fewer than three positions. He can play centre-back, left wingback and also central midfield.
