Manchester United players returned to training on Monday, and over the course of the week, Red Devils have been starting to creep in due to members of the squad getting different periods of rest.
On Wednesday, pictures of Daniel James emerged arriving at the AON Training Complex for the first time. Although we didn’t see any photos of our new man out on the training field.
Today, that changed, and the shots come courtesy of United’s official Twitter account. As you can see from the photos below, United’s new summer signing is in amongst the first-team squad with familiar faces like Juan Mata and Mason Greenwood – and it’s great to see him in action.
I personally thought that the 21-year-old would be given more time off following playing for Wales back in June – but it seems as though he’s ready and raring to go.
In all likelihood, the first chance we’ll get to see James in the match-day situation is against Perth Glory is on Saturday 13th July. I know I’m excited to see how he gets on – and hopefully, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives him ample opportunity to impress.
Seeing these photos just further builds the excitement for the tour, with the squad jetting out to Australasia this coming Sunday.
