Pictures: First official photos of Bruno Fernandes wearing Man United colours

After months of groundwork, Manchester United have their man. Bruno Fernandes is a Red Devil, coming in from Sporting Lisbon on what was undoubtedly a mega-money deal.

Before the transfer was made official, we covered a story including some unofficial snaps of Fernandes wearing Man United colours for the first time. Now, the Red Devils have unveiled the ‘proper’ pictures.

Thanks, as per usual, to the @ManUtd Twitter account for sharing the photos of Fernandes signing his contract, while also posing alongside his new manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Honestly, it’s just great to see United delve into the transfer market and try to turn this season around before it’s too late.

Fernandes certainly looks happy to be here and us United fans are absolutely delighted to have him. Now, it’s about getting down to business and proving to the world just how good he can be.

As fans, we need to remain patient. It’s no doubt going to take Fernandes time to settle into life in Manchester, learn a new style and begin to gel with his teammates. The last thing we need is to get on his back if he has a slow start.

It’s going to be tough for the 25-year-old to replicate those outstanding numbers he put up in Portugal, but I don’t doubt he’ll give it everything he has to succeed here and hit the ground running.

Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long to see Fernandes in action. United take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at 5:30 on Saturday evening, I’m praying he’s involved in some capacity!

Welcome, Bruno!
