This is a transfer that has moved insanely quickly. Manchester United Football Club didn’t mess around when it came to signing their former hero – in order to stop him from heading to the other side of Manchester.
Credit where it’s due, I’ve been United’s biggest critic in the transfer market over the years. However, something has changed this summer. United are suddenly operating and moving like a big club again and they deserve credit for that.
To wrap up a deal for the greatest player of his generation in just a few days is a testament to the hard work that this club has put in behind the scenes. This evening, the fact that Ronaldo is back at United feels very real.

Seeing Ronaldo back in United colours is bringing back all sorts of memories. From that goal against Portsmouth, to winning the Champions League. This man is a massive part of this club’s history and you cannot tell our story without him.
To have CR7 back in Manchester is a massive lift to the whole club. From the coaching staff to players, to match-going fans, to supporters from all over the world. It really is an unreal feeling.
