Manchester United are all set to head to China for the pre-season tour, with Jose Mourinho going into his first season as manager of this prestigious club. It always feels like the tours really hit it home to previous bosses about just how big this club is.
Hopefully, that’ll be the case here again, as Jose Mourinho learns more and more about how much of a global brand Manchester United Football Club is.
The new boss kicked life off at Old Trafford with a win against Wigan Athletic, and although the side didn’t look anywhere near their best, it was a brilliant way to begin things.
This tour is a real chance for the side to gel and bond before the big kick-off in August. There is a real excitement going into this campaign, and the Mourinho effect is already in full flow, as he has lured big names to the club without the lack of Champions League football.
