Joshua Zirkzee has been snapped taking part in his first Man United training session since making the move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United have made two signings so far this summer. We’ve only seen one of them out on the pitch; Leny Yoro.
Joshua Zirkzee was actually the first addition Erik ten Hag chose to make during this window. However, the Dutchman was given extra time off due to his participation at the European Championship with the Netherlands.
Yesterday, United’s new forward made his first visit to the AON Training Complex, as he begins to start life at the Theatre of Dreams. The official club X account shared photos of his first session this morning.
It’s great to see Zirkzee out there, putting in the work, as he looks to make his mark at Old Trafford from minute one.

Sadly, we’ll be made to wait to see Zirkzee in game action. The ex-Bologna man will not be heading to the US to link up with his teammates for their next couple of matches. Instead, he’ll remain in Manchester working on his fitness.
Realistically, the first time we’ll see Zirkzee could be the Community Shield against Manchester City. There’s no greater test for a player than taking on Pep Guardiola’s side at club level, so that’ll be a real test for the new forward.
Hopefully, his training is going well. Zirkzee strikes me as someone who always gives 110% at everything he does, so I suspect he’ll be more than ready to make his mark when the season starts.
