Pictures: Man United officially unveil 2022/23 home kit

Man United have officially unveiled their suave new home kit for the 2022/23 season.

Well, the announcement came a little later than we all expected, though Manchester United have finally released the jersey that they’ll wear next term.

After plenty of speculation and leaks, the club have officially revealed their home strip – and I have to say, I’m a huge fan!

Adidas have truly kicked it old school with this number, with the return of the iconic polo-collar design the highlight of the strip.

Made entirely from Primegreen, purely recycled materials, the shirt also boasts the HEAT.RDY technology – keeping the wearer cool and comfortable in the heat of battle.

“HEAT.RDY regulates your body temperature by maximising airflow, wicking sweat away with ease.”

Modelled by first-teamers from both the men’s and women’s team, this piece of kit certainly looks the part.

The retro kits are always my favourite. Maybe it’s because of the design, perhaps it’s the memories of a better period in Manchester United’s era. Who knows?

Either way, it looks like an authentic throwback jersey, with the collar giving off massive Eric Cantona vibes!

Complete with the all-white TeamView logo and shielded crest, simplicity really is the key here. Sometimes, less is more and that’s certainly what Adidas has done here with this absolute masterpiece. Hopefully, the away kit follows a similar trend.

You’ll see the strip in action for the first time on July 12th, as Manchester United take on Liverpool in pre-season.

I don’t know about you, but this absolutely looks like a kit I can see us winning trophies in!
