Manchester United have won three games from three on pre-season tour so far, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s new high-pressing system working wonderfully well.
Next up is a game against Tottenham Hotspur this coming Thursday in Shanghai, with the Red Devils set to jet out to China over the next 24 hours.
Before then, though, Solskjaer was putting his players through their paces for one final time in Singapore, with the photos coming courtesy of United’s official Twitter account:
In amongst the session was David de Gea and the rest of the goalkeeping core, while youngsters like Mason Greenwood, James Garner, Diogo Dalot and Angel Gomes all seemed to be enjoying themselves.
For United, the results on this tour aren’t necessarily vital, it’s about building up those all-important fitness levels before the serious stuff starts next month.
You can already tell this group of players will be a fitter one in comparison to last season. The way United pressed the ball against Inter Milan truly was superb to see, although it’ll be tough to gauge whether the lads can do that when the serious stuff starts in a few weeks time.
Hopefully, we’ll start reaping the rewards from the get-go, although that opener against Chelsea isn’t going to be easy.
