Well, folks, the big one is here. Manchester United head to the French capital with a mammoth challenge just on the horizon.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are 2-0 down from the first leg against Paris Saint-Germain. Things are only going to get harder due to injuries decimating the squad, coupled with the fact we’re playing away from home.
But, this club is built on fighting mentality and giving youth a chance. Both could well be on display tomorrow night, with several players no doubt eagerly awaiting a possible opportunity to show the footballing world their capabilities.
The Red Devils squad has now jetted out to Paris and the official Manchester United Twitter account shared some of the snaps for us.
First of all, I just love it when the lads are donning those suave suits. It makes things look so official and smart, and it’s great to see the professionalism with which these lads travel.
It’s a shame that he squad is so heavily affected by injuries, with several youngsters now taking the place of senior players, but it could well be exciting if some of these guys get to play. PSG won’t know much about them which could play into our hands; particularly if the likes of Mason Greenwood and Angel Gomes get involved.
Look, it’s going to be tough, that much is obvious. But, in football, you just never know. An early goal could calm down the United nerves while putting PSG and their fans on edge. We’ll just have to see how it plays out, but we’ve got a chance if we never give up.
