Pictures: Man United squad arrive in Bangkok for pre-season tour

The Man United squad have arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, for the start of pre-season tour.

Manchester United Football Club start the serious action in a little under a month, though before then comes the chance to build up the fitness levels on tour.

A whole host of games will be played in Thailand and Australia, with the first of those coming against Liverpool this Tuesday.

Yesterday evening, the squad and coaching staff flew over to Bangkok, to get a few days training in before they play their first ‘friendly’ match. I use the term lightly seeing as it’s against the old enemy…

Anyway, the boys looked in good spirits as they arrived in Bangkok overnight, with the official website posting up a picture gallery for us all to enjoy.

Check out some of the snaps of the players arriving in Bangkok here:

I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is, but I’ve always been a big fan of pre-season tours. Be it the chance to see new signings and young players in action, or the fact that our United stars are being viewed in the flesh by some of our worldwide fans.

This time it has that little extra spice due to having a new manager in place. No doubt this United side will look completely different to that of Ralf Rangnick and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – and I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing how it shapes up.

In terms of who I’m looking forward to watching following the squad announcement, James Garner, Charlie Savage and Zidane Iqbal sit atop that list. Tyrell Malacia is another one I’m intrigued to get a first look at.

Either way, the excitement is definitely building.
