Manchester United’s season is practically over. Planning for 2019/20 should already be well underway behind the scenes.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to be backed heavily, but before then, the Red Devils still have two games to go. Next up is a game away at Huddersfield Town, in a fixture that should be a routine three points. With this United, though, you just never know…
Anyway, before the encounter with the Yorkshire side, Solskjaer has been putting his players through their paces in training, with the official Twitter account sharing the photos.
All the usual suspects were involved including the likes of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Player of the Month winner Scott McTominay. There was no Romelu Lukaku sighted, though. That could be a problem for the gaffer going into the last two fixtures.
Now, it’s all about ending this season on a positive note and giving Solskjaer something to build upon. That’s easier said than done, particularly given that dressing room is full of players who just no longer want to be there.
Anyway, if we can have a good clear out over the summer, there are some talented individuals at the club whom could be key cogs in the Solskjaer wheel in future.
