Manchester United’s players have been putting in the work for one final time, out in Dubai, ahead of a return to Manchester and a Monday Night Football game against Stoke City.
Jose Mourinho’s men looked in excellent spirits, heck, why wouldn’t they be? They’ve had a short break to recuperate some much-needed fitness, and what’s even better? they’re doing it in warm weather.

As soon as they make the return to gloomy old Manchester, it’s back to business as usual.
Stoke City are without a manager at this point in time, so no doubt their players will be out to prove to the new boss exactly why they deserve a place in his team.
However, our cause has been boosted significantly by the return to training of both Antonio Valencia and Michael Carrick. The former has missed the last few games with a hamstring issue, whereas Carrick has barely played recently, as he underwent tests regarding a heart problem.
To have them in and around the squad just gives the manager more options when it comes to team selection. Which is, of course, never a bad thing.
