Another day, another away game in the Premier League for Manchester United. Later tonight, our Reds head to Craven Cottage to play vs Fulham.
With a win, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will move back into first place in the Premier League table so the players shouldn’t need motivating for this one.
That said, this Fulham side have looked pretty good from time-to-time, so it’d be wise not to underestimate our opponents here.
With another game against Liverpool just on the horizon, our Baby Faced Assassin has several team news choices to make. Does he go strong here and rest players in the FA Cup or vice versa? Personally, I’d prioritise the Fulham game.
Anyway, ahead of the match, Solskjaer has been putting his players through their paces in training, with the likes of Donny van de Beek, Edinson Cavani and even Darren Fletcher involved in the session. Cheers to the official @ManUtd Twitter account for the snaps!

Suddenly, you look at the strength in depth that this squad possesses and it becomes clearer as to why we’re up there competing. Sure, having a player like Bruno Fernandes helps, though you look at stars like Van de Beek and Cavani, who aren’t guaranteed minutes week-in-week-out and that has to be viewed as great progress.
It’s games like tonight where these sort of squad members will be hoping to be involved and get their opportunities. I do think we’ll see El Matador lead the lie in this one, though I’m not sure Van de Beek will be involved from the off.
Whatever squad Solskjaer puts out, you’d hope United have more than enough quality to get the three points here. Heck, even if we made 11 changes we should be able to get the job done if we’re serious about challenging for the title.
