Manchester United have been playing some lovely football under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently, with the Red Devils giving off the impression that they can certainly compete for a title in 2020/21.
However, there’s still work aplenty to do in the 2019/20 term as the 20-time Premier League champions looking to secure their place in the top four.
Next up for the Baby Faced Assassin and his squad is a trip to Aston Villa away on Thursday night. Now I’m not sure how United have swindled themselves a 5-day break in amongst all the madness, but no doubt it’s a welcome boost for those players…
Anyway, ahead of the game, the official @ManUtd Twitter account has provided us ample photos of the most recent session, with the likes of Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes and others, in training ahead of the showdown against Villa.

My immediate takeaway is that the AON Training Complex is a happy place at the moment. Pretty much everywhere you look there are smiles on faces and players enjoying their football. Solskjaer deserves huge credit for that.
In terms of team news, we’re yet to hear about the fitness of Victor Lindelof, who hobbled off at half-time against Bournemouth on Saturday. Hopefully, he’s doing okay though I didn’t see him included in the session yesterday.
I wouldn’t expect to see many changes to the starting XI aside from Lindelof possibly dropping out. Heck, why should Solskjaer change a side that’s winning matches pretty comfortably at the moment?
Villa away will not be easy, mind. They’re fighting for their Premier League lives, while all eyes will be on Jack Grealish once again, as we look to gauge whether he’s United-quality in amidst all the transfer links to the attacking-midfielder.
