Manchester United Football Club won’t play a competitive game until mid-August, and although it’ll be a painfully long few months, some of our main stars are still in action.
With the World Cup just on the horizon, various first-team regulars have been put through their paces by their international managers. The Red Devils shared a few snaps via their social media page earlier today…
Amongst those snapped was Belgium international Romelu Lukaku, who has seemingly fully recovered from the ankle injury that kept him out of the starting XI to take on Chelsea in the FA Cup final. Marcos Rojo, Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic were all pictured in pre-World Cup training.

Obviously, we’d all prefer to be watching Manchester United week-in-week-out, but at least we’ll be occupied for the next month or so. Seeing the guys putting in their final preparations is pretty exciting, and now I just cannot wait for it to get underway…
It’s certainly going to be an intriguing summer. With eleven Manchester United players set to be involved in the greatest tournament in football. Can one of those guys lift the prize? Some certainly have excellent chances at doing exactly that.
