Man United have been given a nice double injury lift, with a key pair back in training following injury.
The Ralf Rangnick era has begun, with Manchester United winning their first game with their new German manager at the helm.
Obviously, it was just the start but the early signs were positive. Manchester United played on the front foot, which became a rare sight over the last few months.
Don’t forget that this is without several regular faces missing with injury, too. Though I’m pleased to report things are starting to ease up on that front.
Yesterday, the Reds were handed a double injury lift as both Raphael Varane and Edinson Cavani were back out on the turf following pretty lengthy absences.

I cannot help but feel these guys are probably hurrying up in trying to return now, as they want to make a positive impression on the new manager.
Both of these guys, in my opinion, should be amongst the first names on the team sheet when back fit and ready to play. It goes without saying, we’re talking about two absolute winners here – both of whom offer so much to this side.
Varane brings calmness and defensive astuteness, while Cavani’s energy and tenacity remains unmatched.
Sure, it’ll take a few weeks for the pair to get fully up to speed, but hopefully, they’re over their injury issues for the season and both will remain fit for the second half of the campaign. We’re going to need them if we’re trying to win a piece of silverware while making a real push to finish in the top four.
it’s nice to see you back, lads!
