Erik ten Hag is already getting an up close and personal look at Man United youngsters in training.
We’re now less than a fortnight away from the start of Manchester United’s pre-season tour.
Erik ten Hag is now putting his players through their paces in first-team training, with the new gaffer trying to get a look at his whole squad.
The first batch of players to arrive at training tend to be younger guys who haven’t played for their country in the international breaks, as those that have been away tend to get extra time off.
Monday’s session under Ten Hag was actually pretty star-studded, though the 52-year-old was still willing to give youth a chance.
United starlets including Zidane Iqbal, Alvaro Fernandez and Amad were all pictured in first-team training. Alejandro Garnacho, Charlie Savage and others were also involved in the session.

After obvious first-team struggles last season, I love United’s willingness to see what the next generation can do. After all, the club performed way better at both U23 and U18 level in 2022/23.
At the end of the day, United as a club have always thrived when putting faith in youth. Making marquee signings just hasn’t worked out for the Red Devils over the last few years, so why not go back to our roots?
I’m not saying we’ve got the next Class of 92 waiting in the wings here, but there are some very talented young lads on the books at Old Trafford right now.
Hopefully, these guys impress in training and then get the opportunity to play some minutes during our pre-season tour.
Do you think any of these guys will get the chance on pre-season tour? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
