Player Ratings as Man United beat Granada 2-0 (Europa League home, 2020/21)

David de Gea – Made a few smart saves to preserve his clean sheet. Commanded his penalty area well. 6/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Made some outstanding tackles which is the norm for him. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – Was the senior figure in the back line and he definitely showed that experience. Didn’t give the Granada forward’s a sniff. 7/10

Axel Tuanzebe – His first game in a fair while, but was solid on a relatively comfy night for the young Englishman. Well played. 7/10

Alex Telles – It was nice to see him out there. Played several lovely balls into the box which gave Granada’s defenders absolute fits. It was his cross that led to united’s second. 6/10

Nemanja Matic – One of his better games this season. Protected the back four well and was always looking to move the ball forward. 6/10

Fred – Was a little sloppy in possession. 4/10

Bruno Fernandes – Careless at times. He’s running on empty and our Portuguese Magnifico deserves a long-term rest. 4/10

Paul Pogba – Had a brilliant first half, minus a silly foul. Was at the heart of everything good about our play and his assist for the opener was delightful. Subbed at half-time. 7/10

Mason Greenwood – Had a couple of wayward attempts at goal. Made some nice runs. 5/10

Edinson Cavani – Scored an excellent volley to set United on their way. Led the line well. 6/10

Subs:

Donny van de Beek – Probably his best half of the year. Looked super sharp.

Daniel James – Ran down blind alleys on numerous occasions. Worked hard.

Amad Diallo – Made a great run forward and was actually fouled twice but the ref decided to give neither.

Brandon Williams – Hasn’t played in a while. Getting those minutes will feel good.

Juan Mata – Nice to see him back out there.
