Sergio Romero – Made some decent stops. 5/10
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – The Englishman is slowly working back to full fitness. Put in a steady performance. 6/10
Harry Maguire – Marshalled the defence well. Could have done better for the Chelsea leveller, mind. Just foul the man and take the yellow card. 6/10
Victor Lindelof – Looked nervy at times but dealt with the Chelsea threat for the most part. 6/10
Marcos Rojo – Brought some aggression to the defence. Made some good tackles. 5/10
Brandon Williams – The academy graduate had a top first 45, though was under significant pressure in the second half. Credit to him as the young man remained firm and made a top-drawer last-ditch tackle. 6/10
Scott McTominay – Brilliant on both sides of the ball. His passing was good as was his reading of the game. What a player we have on our hands. 8/10
Fred – Continues to improve. Kept United moving in the right direction due to his forward-thinking nature. 6/10
Jesse Lingard – Looked pretty sharp. His movement gave Chelsea all sorts of problems. If only he could add that end product to his game… 6/10
Daniel James – Won the spot-kick due to his immense pace. Tried to get in behind the Chelsea backline wherever possible. He’s made a great start to life in United colours. 7/10
Marcus Rashford – Tucked away his penalty coolly and backed that up with a sublime free-kick. Was a constant threat throughout. Man of the Match. 9/10
Subs:
Andreas Pereira – Kept things ticking over.
Ashley Young – Didn’t really get involved.
Anthony Martial – Not enough time to mark.
