Player Ratings: Lingard, Lukaku magnificent as Man United beat Arsenal 3-1

Sergio Romero – Stepped in for David de Gea and made an outstanding save to keep United in front in the first half. 6/10

Ashley Young – On the whole, he had an excellent game. Positionally aware, won his one-on-one match-up and got forward where possible. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – Commanded the back line. Had the awareness to play out from the back. Cool, calm and collected. 7/10

Eric Bailly – Nice to see him back playing again. His aggression, toughness in the tackle and overall physicality was a huge asset. 7/10

Luke Shaw – Played a huge part in United’s killer second goal, but sometimes I worry about him defensively. 6/10

Nemanja Matic – Sat at the base of the back four and played superbly. 6/10

Ander Herrera – Busy, energetic and always willing to do the dirty work. 6/10

Paul Pogba – Not his best game under Solskjaer but he still made his mark ad had his say on United’s win. 6/10

Alexis Sanchez – You always knew he was going to score, and what a well taken goal it was too. He played well. 7/10

Jesse Lingard – Smart finish to put United 2-0 up. His runs in behind gave Arsenal nightmares. Brilliant display. 8/10

Romelu Lukaku – He didn’t score, but he was marvellous. The passing and vision was on another level. Well played! 8/10
