David de Gea – Produced a couple of superb saves to keep the game level. 7/10
Guillermo Varela – Continued his outstanding form with some good tackles and nice passing. 6/10
Fosu-Mensah – Looked a bit overeager at times as you’d expect, but on the whole he was a big plus. He certainly knows how to tackle. 6/10
Daley Blind – Perhaps his worst game in a United shirt. Misplaced way too many passes and made a coulee of potentially costly ones towards the end of the first half. 3/10
Marcos Rojo – Looked off the pace from time-to-time, despite always offering himself as an outlet and working hard defensively. 5/10
Morgan Schneiderlin – Was everywhere. Won the ball plenty of times and got Manchester United moving in the right direction. 7/10
Ander Herrera – Lively in the second half without really threatening the Watford goal all that much. 6/10
Anthony Martial – Should have done better with an early header, and from that point you felt he could have done more in an attacking sense. 5/10
Juan Mata – Took the captaincy on his shoulders and really carried the team in the second half. His free-kick was absolutely outstanding. 7/10 Man of the Match.
Memphis Depay – His early shooting was wayward, but after the break he became a real threat once again. 6/10
Marcus Rashford – Ran the Watford defenders into the ground. Never gave them a minutes rest and terrorised them with his pace. 6/10
Subs:
Matteo Darmian – Not enough time to mark.
Jesse Lingard – Not enough time to mark.
