David de Gea – Would be harsh to blame him for Everton’s goal. Untested putting that aside. 6/10
Ashley Young – Not bad defensively, but very limited going forward. Subbed off with a groin injury. 5/10
Eric Bailly – Comfortably United’s best player. Won every 50/50 and marshalled the back four brilliantly. 8/10
Marcos Rojo – Did well for the most part, but how he let Jagielka get a foot on the ball first for their goal was astounding. 6/10
Daley Blind – Sluggish and lethargic. His passing was wayward as were his crosses. Rightly hooked at half-time. 4/10
Marouane Fellaini – Once again, pretty decent. Won plenty of tackles and headers. His final pass could improve, though. 6/10
Michael Carrick – Solid defensively, but he couldn’t find that killer pass going forward. 5/10
Jesse Lingard – Quiet. Made some decent runs but that’s about it. 4/10
Ander Herrera – Nice to have him back as he actually offer some mobility in midfield. However, he didn’t have the finest of evenings. 4/10
Marcus Rashford – Struggled. Got bullied off the ball far too easily and everything he was trying just wasn’t coming off. 3/10
Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Scored the all-important leveller and it was nice to have him back. His build-up play was pretty average. 6/10
Subs:
Paul Pogba – Tried to make things happen but the quality just wasn’t there.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan – Looked busy, but couldn’t create anything.
Luke Shaw – Had a hand in the equaliser as his shot was looking like hitting the back of the net before the handball.
