David de Gea – Made one great save, but could’ve done better with the West Ham goal. 5/10
Rafael – Absolutely superb. His attacking play was brilliant in the first-half, and his resolute defending in the second helped United to three points. Man of the Match. 9/10
Paddy McNair – Pleasing debut. He grown in confidence as the game went on, and made an excellent headed clearance in the second half. 7/10
Marcos Rojo – Did well. Won headers, tackles and stayed resolute. I reckon he suits centre-back much more than left-back. 6/10
Luke Shaw – Similarly to Rafael. Attacked well in the first, and proved he can defend in the second. 7/10
Daley Blind – Kept it simple. Protected the back four well in the first half, could’ve done better in the second. 6/10
Ander Herrera – Got stuck into tackles, kept the ball moving and played well. The game changed when he unfortunately had to go off due to injury. 7/10
Angel Di Maria – Started like a house on fire, but disappeared completely in the second 45 minutes. 6/10
Wayne Rooney – A moment of brilliance for his goal, followed by a moment of madness for his red card. He’ll now miss three important games. 5/10
Robin van Persie – Seems to be growing in fitness and confidence. Took his goal superbly. 6/10
Radamel Falcao – Held the ball up superbly well. Grabbed an assist, but was unfortunately sacrificed when Rooney got sent off. 6/10
