David de Gea – Wasn’t really tested whatsoever. Did well to stop Nugent from breaking free midway through the second half. 6/10
Antonio Valencia – Did alright despite being moved into a out-and-out right-back role. Wasn’t really tested defensively and kept bombing forward. 6/10
Phil Jones – Didn’t have much to do defensively until late in the second half. 5/10
Marcos Rojo – Impressed once again. His energy amongst the back line is something a lot of the other defenders could learn from. 7/10
Luke Shaw – Fairly quiet. Wasn’t challenged going backwards and didn’t really pose an attacking threat. 5/10
Daley Blind – Watching Blind play is brilliant. His footballing brain is superb, he always picks the right pass and the assist for Van Persie’s opener was wonderful. 8/10 Man of the Match.
Wayne Rooney – It didn’t really go to plan for the captain today. He kept overhitting and misplacing passes, but he still kept going and always offered a hand defensively. 5/10
Angel di Maria – Looked lively and terrorised the Leicester back line from minute one. Deserved a goal. 7/10
Adnan Januzaj – Dld alright, but didn’t really stand out from the crowd. 6/10
Robin van Persie – Took his goal brilliantly. He seemed to have that extra yard of pace today which has been lacking recently. 7/10
Radamel Falcao – Worked his socks off as per usual, and his movement inside the box really troubled the Leicester back line. Deserved his goal. 7/10
Subs:
Paddy McNair – Looked solid.
Juan Mata – Kept the game moving.
James Wilson – Stretched the defence with his pace.
