Player Ratings: Sheffield United 3-3 Man United (Premier League, 2019)

David de Gea – Made a few crucial saves early on. Couldn’t do anything about the goals. 6/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Pretty quiet. Personally, I’d like to see him bombing forward more and trying to get involved. 5/10

Victor Lindelof – Steady. Didn’t really do anything drastically wrong. 5/10

Harry Maguire – Barked orders at his teammates on more than one occasion. That’s about it really. 5/10

Phil Jones – An absolute liability. Bullied for Sheffield United’s opener. Gave it away carelessly and never looked comfortable. Rightly hooked. 2/10

Brandon Williams – Was actually having a poor game until about 20 minutes to go. Struck wonderfully to drag United back into the game. Was miles better from that point forward. 6/10

Fred – Poor. His passing was sloppy and he struggled to get his team going in the right direction. 3/10

Andreas Pereira – What’s he even good at? Shoddy with the ball at is feet. Terrible in the tackle. Often outmuscled and always outworked. Not of the required standard. 2/10

Daniel James – Started slowly. Like everyone else, improved as the game wore on. His pace was massively threatening. 6/10

Marcus Rashford – Picked up a goal and a fantastic assist. Burst into life for a 10-minute spell and keeps his good run of individual form going. 7/10

Anthony Martial – Just wasn’t his day. He looked quiet, lethargic and pretty flat. I’d like to see him put a little more effort in. 3/10

Subs:

Jesse Lingard – His movement changed the game.

Mason Greenwood – Scored his first Premier League goal to drag United level.

Axel Tuanzebe – Brought on to kill the game. The sub didn’t work, though.
