David de Gea – Made some excellent saves, but couldn’t do anything about the goal. Poor distribution due to lack of movement in front of him. 6/10
Chris Smalling – Awful defensively and at fault for Adebayor’s goal. Struggled. 4/10
Jonny Evans – Didn’t do an awful lot wrong. He carried us forward at times too. 7/10
Nemanja Vidic – Won his fair share of headers defensively. Probably should’ve done better with his headers from United corners though. 5/10
Patrice Evra – Looked like a wing-back who is ageing. Aaron Lennon left him for dead on more than one occasion. Poor positioning too. 3/10
Michael Carrick – Returning from injury, so we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. His passing range was limited today, and often gave the ball away. 5/10
Tom Cleverley – Played well over recent weeks but when we come up against opposition of real quality he found it tough. 4/10
Antonio Valencia – Had an excellent opening 20 minutes, then seemed scared to take his man on from that point on. His crossing didn’t find their targets either. 5/10
Wayne Rooney – Looked like he’d been rushed back from injury to take part. Decent for 45 minutes but found it hard to make a real impact. 5/10
Adnan Januzaj – Struggled. Couldn’t beat his man, and often looked like he was trying too hard. Shocking dive summed up his match. 4/10
Danny Welbeck – Scored again, and took his goal beautifully. Looked great at times but also went missing in spells too. Excellent that he’s found his shooting boots recently. 7/10

Javier Hernandez – Didn’t offer enough in terms of build-up play. Struggling to find form at the moment. 5/10
Ashley Young – Had a great chance to level the match when he came on, and was taken down by Lloris. Unlucky not to get a penalty. 6/10
Shinji Kagawa – He was involved in a couple of nice interchanges but apart from that pretty average. 5/10

Moyes just too stupid with his selections, Fabio should have played instead of Evra and shin ji should have taken young’s place.
You should never have sold Webb In the transfer window! And Young gets what he deserves….nothing……after years of cheating. Add Janusajz to the list of divers and Rooney to the list of whinging petulant cheats and you can see why teams love to turn you over. Ferguson left you with a squad that needed refreshing and a manager who only plays one way. Major surgery now needed especially with RVP wanting out.
